About Me

My name is Jasmine Ye and I am a self-taught lettering artist in the US. I love to share with others what I do and help people navigate their own lettering journey by getting them started with the right methods and products. Fancy and expensive pens are not necessary to learning calligraphy or lettering!

Outside of my artistic pursuits I enjoy reading, crocheting, dancing, and spending time with my family. I’m a lover of thriller books and movies, cute plushie animals, and lettering (if you can’t tell already). While I’m only an amateur at crocheting and dancing, I truly enjoy both and find myself immersed in the process of learning and creating. Sending letters crafted by hand is something I find so endearing; each character drawn onto the paper filled with love and patience, reflecting the thought of that person. I hope to become that super cool grandma who teaches their grandchildren how to crochet and write letters.

There are so many possibilities with the combination of colors, shades, and the technique applied but totally doable. A heart to learn and supplies are all you need to start lettering, and I am here to make it simple.
